Meet the regular contributors of Major League Soccer Talk:
Kartik Krishnaiyer is a lifelong fan and supporter of the beautiful game who has been attending matches in the United States since he was six years old. Between 1981 and 1983 he served as a ball boy for the NASL’s Fort Lauderdale Strikers. He then was often spotted at Lockhart Stadium supporting the Fort Lauderdale Sun of the USL (1984-85) and the Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the ASL (now USL) in the late 1980s. As far as European Football he supports Manchester City F.C. and is also a long time season ticket holder for University of Miami Hurricane Football and Basketball. He is currently the host of the Major League Soccer Talk podcast and also co-hosts the Champions Soccer Radio Network (CSRN) American Soccer Show twice weekly. He is also a frequent contributor to the 2Gs, CSRN’s Daily Headline Show and CSRN’s European Football Show. He is married and has two cats and a dog.
The Gaffer, founder of Major League Soccer Talk, has been following football/soccer for more than 30 years. Born in Wales, he is a former journalist who now lives in Florida and spends his time analyzing the influence of soccer worldwide. His writing credentials include The Palm Beach Post, Palm Beach Illustrated, South Florida Sun-Sentinel and the now defunct Matchday Magazine.
Johnathan Starling is an honest fan who loves to talk about the beautiful game. His initial writings began as a way to rant about the wacky and sometimes rediculous world of the Premier League. From that he added match reviews and analysis to it. He also hosts The Third Half weekly at CSRN. Started assisting with the Major League Soccer Talk in 2007 and has since also started writing about MLS from an outsiders point of view having no fan allegiance. What you will see from his writing is just his honest to goodness opinion and analysis. Born in Anchorage Alaska, he now resides in Jacksonville, Florida.
