Daniel Feuerstein
From the moment he was introduced to the sport by his parents back in the late seventies when the original New York Cosmos played in the original North American Soccer League, Daniel Feuerstein is a diehard American soccer fan. Since 1996 when Major League Soccer began, he has supported the NY/NJ MetroStars and continued to support the club when Red Bull Corporation bought and renamed it New York Red Bulls. Robert Hay
Robert is lives in the DC area, although some would say he lives in his own little sports world. He was a casual soccer fan until the 2006 World Cup, when he fell in love with the beautiful game. Now his passions (besides writing for this site) include following MLS, the BPL, and Serie A, along with some other more American sports.
The Gaffer
MLS Talk is the brainchild of internet entrepreneur Christopher Harris, better known to readers as The Gaffer. Born in Wales, Harris is a former journalist who has been a football fan for more than 30 years and now spends his time analyzing the influence of soccer around the world from his home in South Florida.
Earl Reed
Earl Reed was raised in the northern Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania on home cooking and ESPN. A sports fan all of his life, Earl identifies with Buffalo, New York as his sports hometown (pictured at the birthplace of "wings"). He developed a love for statistics as a youngster, primarily from the sport of baseball. While earning a chemistry degree at the University of Rochester (NY), Earl became involved in college radio, serving both as a DJ as well as a play-by-play voice of Yellowjacket football and basketball. He is now a research scientist by day located in Delaware, USA, and his love for "real football" was initiated during the 2010 World Cup. Earl's love of statistics and "the game inside the game" feeds his passion for soccer. Earl supports his local MLS team, the Philadelphia Union, and also contributes to our sister site EPL Talk.
Kristan Heneage
Kristan is a journalist based in Newcastle and has contributed both editorials and interviews to EPL & MLS Talk over the last year. Also writing features for the website of FourFourTwo his most notable work is the monthly Luke Rodgers blog 'An Englishman in New York'.
Scott Carrick
Raised in California, but have lived in Portland for the past 15 years and adopted the city as my home town. Always loved and followed the USMNT in soccer and the World Cup but with the addition of the Timbers to Major League Soccer, Scott now officially has MLS fever. Scott loves his Blazers and Timbers. Likes to cover the Timbers club from a fans perspective and looks forward to watching the team and sport grow on this continent.
Alex Muller
Born in London, Alex is an intern at MLS Talk. His interests include video games, viral videos and, of course, soccer. Supports Manchester United.
