I’ve thoroughly enjoyed listening to the three of you interact this world cup cycle. While I didn’t agree with everything said during the month … I can say it was enjoyable and thought provoking. Special thanks to Richard for the back-and-forth on twitter.

To the final … I think it’s a special match up between two teams poised to win their first cup. I will disagree with Kartik and Lawrence from this show and say that I thought this was the best outing for Spain and I think they should be favored to win. The story lines and battles that will be fought on Sunday will be some for the ages.

My hopes? No stupid decisions by the referees, and players that respect the game and each other and give us a good show. The worst thing that would happen in my opinion is a card-happy center ref that instead of managing the game tries to put his stamp on it. Cheers!
