The only reason Fulham is in the premiership is because of an American. Bobby Convey was a constant, and important, starter for Reading before his injury. He is only now starting to get back to form. Those are just 2, not counting goal keepers, that have proven they can cut it in the EPL. Add that to the foreign born players that have developed into successful EPL professionals through US colleges and MLS. Personally I hope more international calibre US born players pass on the EPL and go to La Liga, B-liga, Portuges Liga, and Seria-A. On that we can agree.

well id actually be willing to say Brad Guzan is better than any goalkeeper on the english international team and i'd also be willing to say Tim Howard also an american goalkeeper is one of the best in the premier league and also better than any other english keeper out there now. So to say 1 that we ruin premier league teams 2 for you to think the players didn't work there ass of to get to where they are and 3 that just because players are from america they are automatically obsolete is so stupid and ignorant.

You Yanks certainly believe that everything should be handed to you. The other internationals in our league ADD QUALITY to the league. The handful of Yanks in the Premier League are either in a relegation fight or ruining previously elite clubs. You have never won anything in this game and yet act angry and bitter when someone from your low quality league that is in the process of ruining a world class English footballer who had to appease his wife and move to the US.

Aussies who don't get work permits stay in the A-league. Yanks who don't have whiny defenders like this post. Besides name one Yank of the class that Viduka, Kewell and Cahill demonstrate on a regular basis in the Premier League?
