Bringing Beckham to MLS does not satisfy and/ or meet the need of a soccer fan myself.

MLS needs to elevate the quality of its referees to survive and to be successful as much as the quality of the players.

Referees and players need to understand that they are part of a business, employees. The customers (fans, myself) pay to see a show (the game, the players , the referees, the venue) like any other show.

Current MLS employees have no concept that they are entertainers and people pay to go to see them and expect to receive back the value of their money.

I have been to games and (stopped going to them) just because of referees.

They have no understanding that they are part of the show and NOT spoiler of the show!

There will be no entertainment and a show in soccer, if one team plays with ten players against eleven players or less!!!

And MLS referees need to understand that!! Pulling out yellow cards indiscriminately, or red carding players as they supposedly interpret the rules of soccer, without considering the fans watching the game should not be business practice.

These referees are incapable of controlling a game because they have no credibility with the players. They are inconsistent, some times even unconsciously bias; even sometimes ethnically protect one player against others.

If MLS wants be successful economically, run the MLS Corporation in consideration of the customers who pay you!
