This good The galaxy club is doing very good. I’m glad to see the club ahead of the pack as a dominant club because I’m getting tired of parity. Having a club that’s different is great. Mls should not get in the way if a club running itself because then you get clubs like galaxy if you let them run without mls staging everything. I hope mls doesn’t do anything to try to bring down the club to parity level

I agree that parity is boring. I’m just hoping that my Sounders, once we get our act together, becomes one of the big teams of the league! :) We got money to spend!

The Galaxy has a very potent offense right now, led by the unstoppable-of-late Buddle, and anchored by super-distributor Donovan. However, it is the stellar defensive play that has been their brightest hope, even with their great offense.

How about mentions to Ricketts in goal who has been SPECTACULAR, and to AJ DeLaGarza who not only has been solid defensively, but creeping up into the offensive mix too?

When you look at the mix of veterans and young players on the Galaxy, they really have found an excellent winning formula. I’m sure the rest of the league shudders to think that they have 3 of the finest young players to come into the league the past two seasons (including to Rookie of the Years) in Sean Franklin, Gonzalez and DeLaGarza on their backline, with the brick-wall that Ricketts provides in goal. This team not only looks great now, but what a future too (if they can keep their star youngsters out of the European leagues!)
