He hasn’t gotten a call from Fulham yet, and the USSF hasn’t renewed his contract with the men’s national team, but Bob Bradley has at least one high-profile supporter.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said as much in the Daily Mail, saying that, “‘I think he did a fantastic job and I am surprised the USA have not sprinted to his house and given him a new contract.”
Ferguson also thinks Bradley is ready for a managerial post in Europe, even at Fulham.
“He may want the challenge himself, I think that what he has achieved with the USA has been very good, he is a young man and I don’t think there is anything wrong with taking a challenge in Europe or England for that matter,” Ferguson said.
“I know he has been linked with Fulham and I don’t think it is beyond his boundaries at all, I think he is very capable of taking on a challenge like that.”
Fulham may well be heading in another direction, but having someone like Sir Alex Ferguson talking up your abilities has to be good for Bob Bradley in the long run.
Yes, Thank you very much Bob Bradley for the OK job you did for the past 4 years, but it is time for you to move on. Please resign and go coach at EPL so that USA National team may have a better chance for advancement in our soccer program. You have taken us as far as you could but it is time to hand the team to a coach that may take us to the next level which is among the elite in the soccer world. I stronly feel that the man to take us there is Klinsmann. Again thank you bob but please go!!!!!

Let’s be honest here, Bob Bradley did not do any better in his job than Bruce Arena before him. Bradley is certainly a charismatic guy, but the US national team has not really advanced under his command. I will venture to say that Arena had set up a team that played well together and could have and should have achieved more at the last world cup. But unfortunately Bradley just could not capitalize on that. I think he brought in some good players, but it was too little too late. I’m not sure who should take over, but it’s time for somebody with more experience and a proven record.
This is just Fergie mind games. He wants a crappier coach at Fulham so he can have 2 guaranteed wins every year.
Fergie just wants the USA to have a lame coach so that if England ever meet us again they will have an easy match. Well Fergie you can go screw yourself because we will have a new coach that is more experience and if England ever meet us again we will kick their butts up and down the field. If you like Bob so much then take him to Manchester to replace you.!!!!
