Richardson Headed To Columbus?

After scor­ing a  hat trick against the New Eng­land Rev­o­lu­tion in CONCACAF Cham­pi­ons League action, Joe Pub­lic striker Gre­gory Richard­son told Goal.com he would like to play in Major League Soc­cer. Richard­son indi­cated that Colum­bus has expressed inter­est in his ser­vices. Richard­son who is Guyanese had scored last week in the first leg of the tie. Joe Pub­lic became the first Caribbean club to defeat an MLS side in a CONCACAF com­pe­ti­tion. Pre­vi­ously many of the matches were lop­sided includ­ing DC United’s 8–0 win over Joe Pub­lic in the 1998 CONCACAF Cham­pi­ons Cup.
