  • Former Manchester City and Derby County star Paulo Wanchope has officially signed with Chicago. Wanchope has scored four goals in World Cup competition for Costa Rica, more than any current MLS player. (David Beckham has three).
  • Freddy Adu is now a member of Benfica, the storied Portuguese club. Real Salt Lake now clears some valuable salary cap space to possibly bring in a player like Jay Jay Ockha who has reported to have had contact with RSL Technical Director John Ellinger.
  • Danny Szetela who scored three goals from the holding midfield position in the U-20 World Cup is rumored to be coveted by several EPL sides including Everton who just completed an American tour.
  • Word is that FC Dallas has lost interest in 2002 World Cup winner Dennilson and as viewers of Superliga noticed Richardino from the Brazil U-20 team has been loaned to FC Dallas by his current club Athletico Paranense. The loan lasts until the end of the MLS season.
