It's a great signing thought even now. Seattle obviously scouts better than most MLS teams- Gonzalez was on a list of CONCACAF players I put together 3 summers ago that should be signed in MLS, and none of those guys except for Landin (who almost went to Houston) were even pursued by MLS clubs.
