Published reports indicate out of favor Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele is pondering a move to the MLS. Makelele had retired from the France National Team but then unretired for a Euro qualifier which set off a firestorm in Stamford Bridge. Makelele stated he feels he can continue to play for France if he moves stateside.

He’s perfect for MLS. Technically gifted, still on his national team and not as expensive as a player like Sheva who could be a total bust.
