Kasey Keller suffered a muscle tear for Fulham in training and is out for 3–4 months. Keller had fought his way to become the top choice keeper at Craven Cottage, but now will have a tough rehabilitation especially for a 37 year old ahead of him.

While I have not been the biggest Keller fan (far from it), he has been quite impressive with Fulham. This will be a blow to the team. I wish he could just play this way for the national team.
Still, this is going to make Howard the undisputed starter at goal for now, which I feel is extremely important for US Soccer.
Still, I hope that Keller can return back to him form before the injury. But you do have to look at his age and ask yourself ‘is this it’?
