I’d give DC about a 35% shot of getting in.

I don’t think New York is going to completely collapse. Kansas City plays all but 2 of their remaining games at home. I think those two and Columbus and Philadelphia are going to finish ahead of D.C. Then I think 5 teams in the west are a lock, LA, Dallas, Seattle, Colorado and Salt Lake.

D.C. is gonna have to beat out both Houston and Chivas and not let San Jose or Portland get hot and pass them. It’ll be a horse race and might come down to the last game or two.

D.C. is a much improved team over last year. Regardless of how they finish in 2011, the future looks bright.

NY is one of the top 3 teams in the East ? No.
I guess they are widely regarded as one of the top 3….I don’t know why, they are no better than the average team in the East.
BTW, I believe NY are in 11th right now.

DC are vying for the 3rd and maybe WCard spots like KC, Houston AND NY.

I think DC has a decent shot with 10 teams in the playoffs. It is imparitive that they WIN in the easier games. the wins are what is separating the good teams from the rest.

ps. If it were 8 teams like it should be, no way they are a playoff team.

1st off wow!! Didn’t know this site was here (been yakking off on the EPL Talk site). I went to the game they played against Vancouver Sat. nite and if they could play with the same urgency and be a little more consistent, it’s certainly a possibility to see a small semblance of a playoff run.
