Hope Frankie recovers quickly. He is an essential part of the USA and Crew teams. We miss seeing him on the field!

Kartik,

Good post, but it was Gregg Berhalter who had the controversial penalty called against him, not Eddie Lewis.

Frankie is the very essence of giving 100% for his team. No one can name a game that he stepped on the field and did not give his all! Lets hope he can be ready. If not, then I say give Wynne a long look, to me he is a player in Frankie's mold and needs time to make his mark.

As to the idea that Chivas was robbed oh, how wrong. McBride was shoved with both hands to the ground and the call was correct. Chivas should of had a back pass called just a few seconds before which was missed! The real turning point in the game was when Marsch was sent off for his 2nd yellow card and no one can dispute that call.

This was a classic game in the history of MLS and should establish that the Fire are the best team in MLS! We may not see many other games as exciting as this one this year in the league. Hopefully the fans in Chicago will turn out in force this Sunday to see the eastern leaders. Finally the weather will be perfect in Chicago for the Fire so lets get out to Toyota Park this weekend.

You put Marvell in and you get on with it. Either we have depth or we don't. If Wynne gets torched - I doubt that he will - will it be because he's no good or because the guy on whom we're supposedly so dependant - already a three-cycle WC player - is hurt? And if we can't make do without Frankie either in terms of talent or leadership, what the hell does that say? Bad results are no longer disasters to me; the disasters occur BEFORE games, off the field. And when having lost, we usually have deserved to.

Greg Seltzer of No Short Corners is reporting that Maurice Edu has a knock and most likely will not start for Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final.
Fortunately(gotta look at the bright side), central Mid seems to be the deepest pool for the US, but all the same, it's just something else for Bradley to worry about.
