Let's be honest, Dempsey was a lazy SOB all game and I was beyond pissed that BB didn't sub his ass at half. The goal does not make up for his jog-a-thon! I want a reality check on this, either he's beat up and exhausted from the EPL season or he's just that cocky, either way, what a waste of effort...good on us making it through with help, but we need boys that want to be there...Donovan made me smile all morning with his desire, thank you for that Landon...

eplnfl: It is a great opportunity to advance into the final four. I'm happy they did, but let's hope they don't have another mental meltdown when they face Spain.

I think Timmy gets the nod. He's played more than Guzan in the EPL right now and all Bradley did was give him a break.

eric, espn 360 has replays if you can access it.

i really like the onyewu-demerit tandem in the back and spector has been solid at RG. hopefully when bocanegra comes back, BB will have the balls to play him at LB.

boca---demerit---gooch---spector

that seems like a very good defense imo

The one day I'm working and don't get to see the game is the day we actually play like we know we can. Does anyone know where I can watch a replay of the game?

As far as our performance against Italy and Brazil, show me, beyond the top 5 in the world, another other team that can get a result playing the greater majority of the match with a man down. That is a tough mountain to climb, and it shows we can be pretty competitive when we have a full strengh squad on the pitch.

LD once again played with a class above all other red white and blues. Gooch was OUTSTANDING, and I feel Feilhaber was pretty good as well. I like the back line alot better with bocanegra on the bench. Just my $.02

I saw something COMPLETELY different with Deuce. He was lazy, he didnt track back,, he turned over the ball way too easily, his passes were off target, he jogged most of the match, left his defense in precarious poistions at least 4 times....then he moved forward and got the goal and fist pumped. Sorry I dont see that as having the fire re-ignited. I am not certain why bradley didnt yank him, but as a USMNT fan I am happy he scored.

Most of what I read before the Confed. Cup had the USA finishing behind Italy and Brazil. So getting to the semifinal has to be considered an upset. I was so proud of the team for their efforts against Egypt, and hope they come out with that same energy on Wednesday. Win or lose, they have at the very least washed away some of that bad taste from last week's performances.

Once again, I don't expect us to beat the top Euro and S.A. teams every time out. Show me a competitive spirit and desire to be on the same field as those teams, and I'll be a happy USA fan.

i don't know about you guys but i get nervous every time teams take a long distance shot with howard in goal lately.

hopefully guzan can get more PT with aston villa cause he's got potential to be a great 'keeper.

here's just hoping BB doesn't stick with the egypt lineup against spain just cause it worked.
