Gomez wanted more guaranteed years than DCU was willing to give. The wisdom DCU&#039;s posture I would say was confirmed by the fact that Gomez rode the pines for most of this past season in Colorado.

This of course does not negate your larger point, which is well taken. DCU gambled on five players, and lost the gamble on all five of them.  The question for us DCU faithful now is:
