Daniel, I couldn't agree with you more. WTF is the USSF doing? It's honestly not the players that are the problem; it's the coach. The USMNT HAS talent. Bradley clearly isn't capable of nurturing it or putting the right combination on the field. By only playing "his guys," he's created a situation in which there is a lack of competition for playing time. So no one is working on getting better nor is anyone being pushed to get better. They're complacent.

Also, I think we've all been super critical of Landon Donovan in the past, and rightly so. But he's played his balls off the past 4 or 5 games (WC qualifying included) and he deserves some credit.

What I don't understand is why the USSF doesn't dump Bradley now and hire Kliensmann or some other prestigious manager? Sell them on the fact that if you bring the US anywhere close to competing in the WC, you will be immensely popular in one of the most popular countries on the planet (I couldn't think of a better way to describe the US but hopefully you get my drift). It's like winning a NBA championship with the LA Clippers.

Torres played bad the first 10-20 minutes against Costa Rica, but settled down after that. The first goal was not his fault, but Beasleys. He was the best player and passer of the ball at then end of the first half. He deserved to stay in. He should have started the last three games.

Dempsey needs to sit on the bench in favor of Adu. He is way too comfortable, smug, lazy in his postion and stance on the team. Needs to stop trying to play tricks with the ball, be fancy, and hold the ball forever. His stunts have led to turnovers and goals.

I've always thought Dempsey played with a huge chip on his shoulder. He can be a dangerous player and is a hard worker, but he needs to grow up and quit the bullshitting.

Donovan is the enigma. In my mind he is the most talented US player ever. But not the best. Bradley and Arena wanted - needed him to be a leader but so many times, in so many crucial games he disappeared. Great penalty taker though. In the last two games he's worked so hard for so little pay off. I have to wonder how much longer he'll be able to sustain this effort.

I thought Torres played like a total chicken-head against Costa Rica. Maybe he was nervous. I don't know. But I was happy to see him subbed out.

Beasley is another hugely talented player who underperformed for a long time and is now sucking hugely. He's no where near as dangerous as he was in 2002.

I believe Tim Howard is the only player on the whole team who is on form. He's regularly let down by swiss cheese D, but he also regularly stuffs 4 or 5 real goal-scoring chances per game.

Line-up for next game:

Altidore--------Donovan

----Torres----Feilhaber----Bradley-----Adu----

Pearce------Califf-----Onyewu------Spector
--------------------Robles----------------------

It's time Klinsmann gets seroius consideration to replace Bradley.
Hiddink would be great, but he is taking Russia to the WC.

If Mexico can hire a coach at this moment of qualifying why not the USA, We are at least on verge of qualifying and has a chance to get to the world cup with or without Bradley. So if a new coach comes in has a time to scout new talent either in Europe, MLS or in our youth System Development. Javier is a good coach but we can hire someone like him that been there and done that. we need to change the face of this wonderful country and get the right players to represent us in the World cup. Bradley had almost 3yrs to get this team ready and he is not showing anything. So please Mr. Sunil Gulati you better get your act together and hire a new coach or else you too have to go.

I think is time to see a different team, I don't care if we loose at least it will show us a new face and different attitude. What there is to loose since we already out of this tournament. Is time to give the other a shot.
-----------------Altidore------------------

------------Donovan--------Adu--------------

-----Torres------Feilhaber------Bradley-----

Boca/borns/Pierce-----DeMerit-----Califf-----Spector

---------------------/Howard/Guzan/Robles------------------
I don't care who play left on defense and who is the goal keeper but is time to get new blood in there. at least you owe us that Bob Bradley.
