I never did understand the hiring of Gullit, I mean here was a failed EPL coach that was out of coaching for years and sitting at home in Europe and of all the former coaches from all leagues thoughout the globe, the Galaxy feels he's the best coach for them? I bet Ruud didn't know a single Galaxy player not named David or Landon, or even what teams played in the MLS. Bruce Arena will be nothing but an improvement, and he gives AEG someone they can trust that knows what he is doing. BTW maybe as good as hiring Bruce Arena is, the firing of clueless Alexi Lalas is just as big. Sheesh, finally! I truly think he made personnel decisions by placing player names into a hat and signing or trading the players he picked out...
