Wooow! You really believe that penalty was the cause of the humiliation of the USA. The game was fair play USA B team and Mexico B team. Just like USA was missing Donovan, Dempsey, and Howard Mexico was missing player like Rafael Márquez, Nery castillo, Andres guardado, cualtehmoc blanco, Ricardo osorio, Carlos salcido, pavel pardo, Aaron galindo. So I believe on august we are going to see a great game and let the best team win.

Remember that day in the Confederations Cup when the US started beating Italy with a penalty when Altidore dove?.. I do, the US lost 3-1. So that just means they suck.

If you knew anything about soccer you would know that the US player pulled the mexican’s shirt and that’s a penalty. Then when it was 3-0 they made another penalty on Giovani but the referee didn’t call it. So shut up and take it like a man… But anyways whatever stops the tears.

A score of 5-0 can not happen by accident… unless you tie the players’ legs together. Articles like this make people look like little kids. Let it go and wait until August. At least they didn’t get kicked out of the cup like Mexico. Go USA, Go Mexico.

ok here, everyone that goes for the U.S. say “we still have bragging rights” but really we have bragging rights. The U.S. did make it to the final in the confederations cup vs brazil but do you not remember when mexico made it to the final vs brazil. We beat them and the U.S. didnt so stop whinning and save some of ur tears for august 12 becasue mexico has never lost in the AZTECA by the U.S. and the u.s. is doing very horrible on road games losing to costa rica, barely tieing to el salvador, with donovan and so dont planning on winning white people and Cavan shut up because yall white boys are just hating because yall couldnt beat mexico so keep crying and any white person planning to go to da game i wouldnt do it because yall probably get shot after mexico scores 3 goals on the u.s.

Come on Mr. Feuerstein, an article like this one makes you sound very much like a sore loser, without a doubt. I’m sure in any conspiracy theory mindset the referee surely decided “all on his own” that an allegedly bad penalty call (according to you and only you) would surely change the game to Mexico’s favor, so much, that the end result would be a blow out. I know this fact can’t seem to sink in, but, let me just say it plain and simple; Mexico’s bench was much more better on the field than the U.S bench.

You are right, the U.S team didn’t have their big players, Donovan, Bradley, Altidore and so on, I guess what I’m saying is maybe the U.S soccer federation needs to have a little more respect for the CONCACAF if they think they can win it with their “not top players”.

The U20 mexico lost agains argentina i bealive it was 1-0. The game was even, come and go. But I’d like to point out that Gio and Vela were more threatening that the Argentinos counter parts (including aguero). THe game was decided in a defense error. After that goal, argentina pulled back and just waited. NOw that game had a horrible english ref….he called everything agains mexico.
Vela and Gio have shown time and time again that they play better together, they’ve been doing it since they were 13-14, they understand each other to perfection.
Have you seen Jonathan….he is Xavi like, same qualities, he is an awsome player, Barca has a great youth system. Im sure Jonatha Dos Santos will be in the bech for the Seleccion next year.

Mexico’s best players are in their early 20’s or younger……..Nery, Gio, Vela, Guardado, Memo, Moreno, Jonathan, and many many more.

U.S played like they always play and lost. Mexico was a better team. I’ve said it before the game changed in the last minutes of first halft with Gio running at the U.S defense and leaving Venado infront of goal..but ofcourse it was venado so he couldnt score. I dont know why they keep calling him.

The U.S was “playing attacking football”? what game were you watching??? The first 10 minutes they played offense yes, but after that…all 11 U.S players were at the back just waiting, like they always do, playing the counter (thats the U.S style). Mexico passed the ball in the midfield trying to open the U.S team, but alll they did was wait, defending (their usual boring soccer). If you are going to writte something please watch the game and know the rules. The penalty call was accurate. THe U.S player pulled Gio Down. If he hadnt been pulled down he would’ve been alone infront of goal. What about the second penalty that gio received, also not a penalty? It was not call because the ref felt sorry for the U.S.
Also, the penalty didnt change the game, the game had changed completly in the last minutes of the first half. Mexico had 2 clear opportunities at goal, they were creating more and running circles around the U.S defenders.
And yes, both teams were missing their main players, but this was a game that both coaches used to test guys with little or no international experience and also to test their young guys. And All I can say is that the future looks brighter for Mexico.

By the way even if you go down by 1 how do you explain 4 more? What..these players have no character to pick up and keep playing?
How many times has the U.S been favored by a truly bad call? MANY MANY times, so stop your complaining pleaseeee. Mexico played a better game.

Also, the U.S made it to the Confederation Finals…, by beating the powerfull egyptian team and by also beating a Spanishteam who didnt take that game seriously, thought they were going to win just with their name (once in a life time thing….can you do it again? doubted). So now they are the best in concacaf? in the world???? pleaseeee…U.S needs to learn to play like the big boys, and be constant in the international competitions. Mexico always plays better in copa america , confederaciones, why? because the big teams that play there, play an open game, they dont sit and wait with all 11 players. They go and play futbol, attacking futbol. The beautiful game.
