I think Eric’s comments were a reference to the Miami Fc signage at recent CONCACAF qualifiers.

As far as promotion goes it was top of the charts!

The Islanders don’t have any fixture congestion to hinder them since they don’t start the season till AFTER Tuesday. It’s gonna be one hell of a match!

Miamia FC isn’t massive in those countries, it’s just that the team was marketed well because they have good PR. Most people in those countries don’t know who Miami F.C is, some of them in Honduras know who the Islanders are.:)

Miami FC is massive in Honduras and El Salvador though.

At least that’s what the billboards say.

But forget the USL-1 season for now. The real question is can the Islanders get through on Tuesday?
